The Walker Art Center has a broad range of artistic opportunities for you to enjoy from artists in residence to dance.  There is a sculpture garden for you to stroll through and classes and workshops you can take to learn about art.  The exhibitions are excellent with new things being presented regularly.  The sculpture garden has free admittance and is open from 6 AM to Midnight daily.

Cowles Conservatory: Admission free. Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-8 pm; Sunday, 10 am-5 pm; closed Monday.

They offer tours to help you get the best experience of your visit.

The theatre presents some wonderful plays for your enjoyment.  The Walker Art Center has something for nearly everyone, it is well worth your time to visit while you are in the Twin Cities area.

Gallery Admission: $10 adults; $8 seniors (65+); $6 student/teen (with ID) Free to Walker members and children under 12.
Free with a ticket to a same-day Walker event.
Free to all every Thursday evening (5–9 pm) for Target Free Thursday Nights and the first Saturday of each month for Free First Saturday.

Parking: Pay parking is available in the City of Minneapolis garage on the Walker site, accessible from an entrance on Vineland Place at Bryant Avenue. Additional parking is available in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden pay lot and on the street (hourly and metered).

The Walker is located in Minneapolis at 1750 Hennepin Avenue, where Lyndale and Hennepin avenues merge.

If heading east on I-94, take 231A and go south on Hennepin/Lyndale. If heading west on I-94, take Exit 231B and go north on Lyndale/Hennepin. If heading east on I-394, take Exit 8A and go south on Lyndale/Hennepin.
