Sitting on the banks of the MIssissippi River in downtown St. Paul the Science Museum of Minnesota offers everyone an opportunity to explore the wonders of science, see fabulous displays and participate in activities offered.  The Science Museum’s programs combine research and collection facilities, a public science education center, extensive teacher education and school outreach programs, and an Imax Convertible Dome Omnitheater to provide science education to our audience of more than a million people per year.

This 370,000 ft facility over looks the Mississippi River.  The 70,000 square feet of exhibition space includes a 10,000 square foot temporary exhibit gallery and five permanent exhibition halls covering the topics of paleontology, physical sciences and technology, the human body, peoples and cultures, and the Mississippi River.

East on I-94
From I-94 East, take the Kellogg Blvd exit. Go right and follow Kellogg Blvd. Take Kellogg Blvd to the three-way intersection of Kellogg, West 7th Street, and Eagle Street. Take a right down Eagle Street to the second stoplight, Chestnut Street, and turn left. Proceed to the lower ramp entrance.

North on I-35E
From I-35E North, take the Kellogg Blvd exit. Go right and follow Kellogg Blvd. Take Kellogg Blvd to the three-way intersection with West 7th and Eagle Street. Take a right down Eagle Street to the second stoplight, Chestnut Street, and turn left. Proceed to the lower ramp entrance.

West on I-94
From I-94 West, take the 12th Street exit and follow to Jackson Street. Turn left and go south to Kellogg Blvd. Turn right onto Kellogg, and continue six blocks. The museum will be on your left. Be sure you are in the left lane and follow the Exchange Street underpass, which goes under Kellogg Blvd. Continue down Exchange to the first intersection and take a left on Eagle. Then take the next left on Chestnut and proceed to the lower parking entrance.

South on I-35E
From I-35E South, take the 10th Street exit to Jackson Street, turn left and go south to Kellogg Blvd. Turn right onto Kellogg and continue six blocks. The museum will be on your left. Be sure you are in the left lane and follow the Exchange Street underpass, which goes under Kellogg Blvd. Follow Exchange to the first intersection and take a left on Eagle. Then take the next left on Chestnut and proceed to the lower parking entrance.
