A delightful way to spend a day is on a relaxing cruise on the Mississippi River! If you have never experienced a trip on a paddle wheeler, you will thoroughly enjoy a riverboat cruise through historic downtown Minneapolis. This brand new 125 passenger Minneapolis Queen is conveniently located at Boom Island Park in the heart of the Minneapolis Riverfront District, phone 612-378-7966, toll free 888-791-6220.

Sightseeing cruises are available in spring, summer and fall on a first come basis, but reservations are recommended. Specialty and Cocktail Cruises require reservations though. Boarding begins 15 minutes before departure time for all cruises which leave from Boom Island Park in downtown Minneapolis. For passenger convenience and comfort, the interior upper and lower decks are climate controlled, wheelchair accessible and equipped with restrooms.

Children are certainly welcome on the cruises as long as they are supervised by an adult. 

There are no alcoholic beverages allowed to be brought on the boat. 
The cruise will sale rain or shine.
The boat has climate control so you will be comfortable on your cruise.
Smoking is allowed on the outsdie bow portion of the yachts only.

The cruise route of the Minneapolis Queen will take you along the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway and Heritage Trail, past Nicollet Island and through the lock at historic St. Anthony Falls. After going through the lock, the Queen cruises under the Stone Arch Bridge past the Mill City Museum and Mill Ruins Park. You will also see St. Anthony Falls, Riverplace, Father Hennipen Bluff Park and the skyline of downtown Minneapolis.

Sightseeing and Lock Cruise $17.00 per person.
A narrated tour through historic downtown Minneapolis is provided through the lock at St. Anthony Falls. Snacks and beverages may be purchased.

The Minneapolis Queen’s most popular cruise – Cocktail and Pizza Cruise $23.00 per person – provides a narrated cruise on the Mississippi River thru downtown Minneapolis going thru the upper St. Anthony Falls while enjoying the beautiful Minneapolis skyline. Two for one drink tickets are included along with complimentary pizza. Hours are from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  The cruise departs from Boom Island Park on the Mississippi River.

Friday Night Dinner Cruise – $45.00 per person – This cruise will take you through both the upper and lower St. Anthony locks with a view of the upper falls and the beauty of the Minneapolis evening skyline taking you past the U of M Campus. Hours are from 6:30 pm thru 9:00 pm.  The cruise leaves from Boom Island Park on the Mississippi River.

Sunday Brunch Cruise: $30.00 per person, departing from Boom Island Park on the Mississippi River aboard the Paradise Lady.
Mother’s Day weekend through the 3rd weekend in October.  Hours are on Sunday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
