The Theatre du Mississippi has been in operation in Winona since 1997 bringing performances to the community in a beautiful historic theatre or outside in the open air.  Both are exciting to attend.

They carry on the tradition of original, live theater and locally produced films as they have done since the beginning.
The theatre has produced two feature length films, one, "Greta’s Song" is an award winning drama concerning domestic abuse.  The other titled "Eldon Miller’s Ghost" looks at the consequences of the Vietnam War on a mid-western family.  Actors and location were both from the Winona area.

There is also music at the theatre since the acoustics inside the historic 1907 Masonic theatre are excellent entertainers, particularly the contemporary blues and folk acts, love to come and entertain in this intimate environment.
