This turn of the century theatre is still providing quality entertainment for the people in Southern Minnesota and beyond.  There are productions year around with touring acts from all over the world.  The Sheldon also produces its own shows starring local artists and performing arts groups including The Sheldon Theatre Brass Band, The Phoenix Theatre and The Red Wing Singers.

The theatre presents entertainment of all types from Rock music to Latin music, storytelling and fairytales come alive for the younger set and even movies from the classic years of silent films for those that enjoy them.  There is also good ol’ foot stompin’ music from the Branson area or knee slappin’ music from the best of the country western world.

The theatre was built in 1904 and restored to it’s present beauty in 1986.
