SPAM® Museum – Austin, Minnesota

Hormel Foods has built a museum to their SPAM® product.  It is one of the most well known American classics.  Everyone has had it at one time or another.  Now you can learn different ways to fix is, you can enjoy the 16,500 ft museum with exhibits and displays telling the story of Hormel since it’s inception in 1891.  State-of-the-art video screens and kiosks are located throughout the museum.

The tour takes about an hour and a half with the video of "SPAM® a Love Story" in an auditorium that will accommodate up to 42 people.

There is also a cafe called the SPAM® Cafe on site, should be interesting!

Hours: Mon.-Sat. 10:00am-5:00pm, and on Sundays 12noon-4pm. The museum is closed on Mondays Labor Day through April 30 and the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, and Christmas Day.
