These museums contain a collection of artifacts and historical materials from Koochiching County and the surrounding area.  The exhibits document the northern Minnesota region and include the Native American History and culture.  The European settlement and the exploitation of natural resources through the fur trade to what’s happening in the modern forestry world.

The Bronco Nagurski Museum was established following the death of Bronko in 1990.  The museum was constructed as a wing to the Koochiching County Historical Society and was opened in 1993.

This is the first museum dedicated to an individual football player.  It’s just a quality, state-of-the-art facility with exciting exhibits to inform the visitors about International Falls, the evolution of the sport of professional football and Bronko’s life.  There are Photgraphs, artifacts, contracts and other materials from Bronko’s distinguished career.  There is also a fifteen minute video summary of Bronko’s life including actual footage from his playing days shown in the theater.

Open: Year around except for holidays from 9 – 5 PM Monday through Friday.
