Fiesta Days - Montevideo, Minnesota

Montevideo, Uruguay and Montevideo, Minnesota have a Sister City relationship.  In celebration of this sisterhood the city of Montevideo holds a celebration to honor of the relationship that began in 1905 with the exchange of flags.  Each summer, the city celebrates "Fiesta Days" during Father’s Day weekend in June. The celebration consists of four days of a variety of activities, concluding with a parade on Sunday afternoon.

There will be fireworks, art and crafts, sporting events and the parade (which they claim is the best in Southern Minnesota) so come out and enjoy the festivities.
