Charles A. Lindbergh Historic Site - Little Falls, Minnesota
Charles A. Lindbergh Historic Site - Little Falls, Minnesota
You can visit the home, built in 1906, where Charles Lindbergh spent his boyhood summers and some winters at the home on the Mississippi in Little Falls.
The historic site includes a completely remodeled Visitor Center, with new exhibits, films, and a gift shop, as well as an interpretive trail along the river.
At the site you will be able to sit in the cockpit modeled on the Spirit of St. Louis, get to know more about his life, his thoughts and his work as an environmentalist. You will see the VW that he drove across 4 continents and the motor to the boat that he and his father used to boat on the Mississippi River.
Two miles south of Little Falls on Lindbergh Drive you will come to the Charles Lindbergh State Park and the house that he grew up in. You can tour the home furnished with it’s original furnishings. Maybe you will dream a dream as big as his and achieve something wonderful.
Charles Lindbergh flew his famous flight across the Atlantic in 1927.
