This cabin was built in 1870 by Swedish immigrant John Bergquist, is the oldest house in Moorhead still on its original site.

The little cabin is typical of the homes built in the era, when life was difficult and everyone had to contribute to survive.

The cabin is open each year during the Scandinavian Hjemkomst Festival in June, and by appointment.
