Tour a bison ranch while traveling in Minnesota.  There are 300 bison roaming over 200 acres at this ranch.  Bison cows have been known ot live for as long as 42 years and have 38 calves. They can live in the cold of Minnesota winters and the heat of the summers with little shelter.  The bulls grow to be nearly 2,000 lbs. (some larger) and the cows from 800 to 1200 lbs and can still run 35 miles an hour.  That might mean that you don’t want to make them mad. Read more
